Update

Admittedly, I have not been the best with posting updates on how the Movember stache has been coming along, but that does not reflect the effort I've put into growing it!  Or rather, maintaining it.  I think I probably put more into awareness about prostate cancer than actual fundraising, but I did raise a bit!

Here's the latest update - it's day 30, the stache is coming off tomorrow (which my wife is thrilled about), and I'm trying to convince her to let me keep it a little bit longer.  Thoughts, comments, opinions?

Also, remember that you can still support by clicking here.

Movember - Day 8

Alright, so the handlebars are starting to come in nicely now...my wife loves it!  Or not.

I haven't really posted this week because I've been waiting for it to grow in a bit.  I've gotten the same comment over and over this week - "I thought yours would grow in so fast, and be super thick!"  Patience, it's coming in now.  It's just a little shy, it needs some time, that all.

This shot was taken at about 2:00 this afternoon.

Now here's the deal.  AJ The Wonderdog and I are both growing the stache for Movember, and while it's not a competition, I'm still slightly embarrased by how badly he is crushing me in the fundraising department.  So I need to remedy that - if you're looking to support prostate cancer research (and the gross stache), click here!

Movember

And so it begins...Movember.

Day 1.  Clean shaven.  This look won't last for long.  I'm excited to be taking part this year.  Doing my part to raise funds for prostate cancer research, and it's all in good fun.  Friends, family, co-workers, and hopefully anyone who sees this gets a good laugh with what develops over the next month.  Hopefully my wife finds it just as funny...

It'll be interesting speaking at churches or going to press conferences with a moustache that just doesn't seem right on my face, but hey, that's the fun of Movember!  And again, all for a great cause...and I'll be honest, it'll be nice not to have to shave - at least part of my face - for an entire month.

Follow along, I'll keep posting pics over the next month.  And if you want to make a donation and support prostate cancer research, here's my page.  You can be the first donor!
